Privacy Policy

The Swing Co., Ltd. ("we" or "our") complies with relevant laws and regulations such as the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection, the Personal Information Protection Act, the Act on the Protection and Use of Location Information, the Communications Secrets Protection Act, and the Telecommunications Business Act to safely process users’ personal information (including personal location information; hereinafter the same applies) and does its best to protect users’ rights and interests. We establishes and discloses a personal information processing policy to protect users’ personal information and smoothly process users’ complaints related to personal information.

 


[Personal Information We Collect, purpose of processing and retention period]

When personal information becomes unnecessary due to the expiration of the retention period or the achievement of the processing purpose, We destroys the relevant personal information without delay. The company processes personal location information as follows in accordance with the Act on the Protection and Use of Location Information (hereinafter referred to as the “Location Information Act”).

1. Purpose of processing and retention period of personal location information

Personal location information is processed within the scope of the processing purpose specified in the company’s ‘Terms of Use for Location-Based Services’.

2. Basis for retention and retention period of personal location information collection, use, and provision confirmation data

The company automatically records and retains location information collection, use, and provision confirmation data in accordance with Article 16, Paragraph 2 of the Act on the Protection and Use of Location Information, and retains such data for 6 months.

3. Procedures and methods for destroying personal location information

At this time, personal location information recorded and stored in electronic file format is destroyed using technical or physical methods so that the record cannot be reproduced, and personal location information printed on paper is destroyed by shredding or incineration.

4. Matters regarding the provision of personal location information to third parties

The company does not provide location information to third parties without the user's consent. When the company provides personal location information to a third party designated by the member, the company immediately notifies the member of the recipient, date and time of provision, and purpose of provision through the communication terminal device that collected the personal location information.

5. Location information management officer

The company appoints and operates a location information management officer to manage and protect personal location information and smoothly handle user complaints and requests. The company's location information management officer concurrently serves as the personal information protection officer.

6. Rights and obligations of guardians of children under 8 years of age, etc. and methods of exercising them

1) If the guardian of a person falling under the following cases (hereinafter referred to as “children under 8 years of age, etc.”) consents to the use or provision of personal location information for the protection of the life or body of a child under 8 years of age, etc., the Company considers the consent of the person.

3) If the guardian consents to the use or provision of personal location information of a child under the age of 8, the guardian may exercise all of the rights of the personal location information subject as stipulated in Article 6 of the 'Terms of Use for Location-Based Services'.
